Incredibly Complex

Where do I even begin
I heard a lot about Amouage Interlude and one day I went to the perfumery and tested it.
I have to say, I honestly found it really disgusting on the test strip.
Then I read about Midnight Oud and thought, "Okay, give it a chance for that little bit of money,"
So I bought it.

When the perfume arrived, I was extremely excited.
The packaging is a homage to Amouage.
It looks very similar to the whole thing.
The golden plaque reminds me of Tom Ford
The logo of Amouage
The bottle itself, high-quality, heavy, the cap also heavy and high-quality.
Unbeatable for the price range.

So now a spray on the arm and it came back like with Amouage

The opening

Extremely intense smoky scent.
You can smell incense. Extremely.
But after a few minutes

Dry Down

You can smell the incense, and yet something sweet slowly comes through.
I wait in anticipation ...

After several hours, slowly

It gradually becomes sweeter and personally reminds me of Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford.
As my predecessor already said, the incense is permanently detectable, but fades a bit after several hours, allowing the base to shine through well.
I must say by now
I love it!

It is truly a very complex scent of herbal, smoky, and sweet notes.
So for those who dare to take the plunge, wait, even if it takes time, it will become extremely awesome!!!
Price-performance ratio is unbeatable.
Regarding longevity, I must say that the scent is still noticeable even after a good 8 hours of work.

Clear purchase recommendation

You're absolutely right; as I read this, I also thought after a while that the scent seemed familiar. But I was thinking of Tobacco Oud, not vanilla.

Well described. But you can also find it at other shops besides Amazon ;-)

I felt the same way, and since there was only one description so far, "Schorsch, it burns," I thought I’d write something that’s easier to understand.

Thanks for the great description! I've had my eye on this one for a while, but unfortunately, I've only found it on Amazon. I always struggle a bit with buying perfume there...
