A Quick Tea Tree Oil?
Today, the traveling package initiated by Gschpusi with Art & Scents fragrances arrived at my place. As long as I can think of more than just one sentence for a statement, I will write - mostly rather short - comments on these perfumes.
I chose this one from the package first because I like to reach for green (or floral-green) scents in spring.
My first thought right after spraying: clearly, this leans towards Chypre! But I miss oak moss in the pyramid. Then there’s the emergence of a somewhat piercing note, which made me dig into my fragrance memory for a moment...yes, it definitely reminds me of tea tree oil! I can't say which of the mentioned components is responsible for this scent impression. I haven't "stored" aloe and agave, and I know verbena to be distinctly more lemony. Hyacinth can sometimes be a bit "prickly," but I know it differently as well. However, this somewhat aggressive note doesn't last long anyway. The scent also fades very quickly on my wrist - actually much too quickly! - in terms of intensity. I find floral-green to be the most fitting description now.
Good for spring, but overall, after the brief intense start, it is clearly too subtle and short-lived for me.
