Reduced to the essentials

Why is this great fragrance so little represented here? Is it because it is almost minimalistic, not as complex as many others? In my opinion, it is the very clear composition of Patchouli Tonka that makes it so attractive.
The start is very fresh for a Patchouli and interestingly I notice the orange more than the bergamot. With most it is rather the other way around and bergamot dominates. Here it is very discreet and rather a support for the very natural orange.
The top note changes after a short time, I would almost say "secretly", to the Hernote and changes to a darker fragrance. Sandalwood and patchouli dominate here, while the tonka bean sets the first, very slight sweet accents.
Patchouli is very nice, warm and earthy here, but at the same time cool, which I have never experienced before in any other fragrance. Sandalwood brings fine woody nuances and makes the composition creamy. The interaction here is simply perfect and my wrist approaches the nose as often as possible so as not to miss a moment -or a nose- as much as possible.
The closer it gets to the base, the more the tonka bean emerges and transforms the scent, combined with a wonderful vanilla, into something that is simply delicious. The interaction with Patchouli results in a chocolaty touch. Here also the coolness gets lost and Patchouli Tonka simply gets nice and warm.
The shelf life is really good. 7-8 hours is loose in it. The Sillage is not necessarily room-filling but completely sufficient not to let the scent get close to the skin.
It can be worn all year round. The price is surprisingly low for such a great, balanced fragrance that never gets too loud during the whole process.
From me there is a clear recommendation to test, buy and wear.
