A Brief Vanilla Comment
I'll keep it short, because what I have to say is too long for a statement. (Actually, it's also too long for a comment. Anyway, you have to deal with it now)
L'Or de Vanille starts with a slightly citrusy-sour vanilla. With a bit of goodwill, I would actually call this note bergamot. However, the vanilla is more dominant and quickly overpowers the citrus. After that, only vanilla remains for a long time. Not too sweet, not too banal, but warm and slightly gourmand.
Later, the vanilla becomes a bit powdery. But before it can get too dusty, musk comes in as a dust filter. Tonka adds additional sweetness and warmth to the fragrance.
And not much more happens here (anymore)
The scent is not too sweet, as one might fear based on the pyramid. In the base, I would have preferred a bit less musk.
The longevity is good and the scent does not fill rooms.
There is a clear similarity to Valkyrie by Sylvaine Delacourte, which I also find much more balanced.
Still, L'Or Vanille is worth a test.
