Synthetic Lemon Haze

I find the idea of the scent fundamentally very nice, but the execution could be significantly better.

At the beginning, I smell a very citrusy, aquatic freshness, in which a synthetic, herbal note breaks through. Unfortunately, it's a bit too synthetic for my taste. Pacific Cannabis unfortunately smells very artificial and unfortunately does not harmonize well enough with my nose.

Additionally, the scent has the problem that most "freshies" have: it doesn't last long and doesn't project strongly.

Conclusion: A fresh, aquatic scent should - what a surprise - refresh. However, Pacific Cannabis is unfortunately more exhausting to wear for me and smells like Lemon Haze from a chemistry lab.

Bought for Cannabis, kept for Pacific.

First of all, I want to say that I hardly smell any cannabis in this fragrance. This might be a bit disappointing at first, but it doesn't matter at all.

It was a blind buy. I just saw myself in the description. Smoking joints on the beach in LA. California Beach Party feeling. Even though I haven't smoked in years, I felt it. The fragrance did not disappoint me. It has even become my everyday scent, and my second 100ml bottle is already nearing its end. Repurchase guaranteed. It just fits me perfectly. Sporty, New Age hippie, at the beach party no more grass. I wear it in the office, while strolling, and also at outdoor parties. Currently even at the gym, but only because I'm still looking for the perfect fitness scent for me. I would also wear it for dates.

The longevity could be a bit better. The sillage is only present in the top note. However, this is outstanding. Not overpowering and a very harmonious interplay of aquatic freshness and light spiciness. In my opinion, the fragrance is suitable for reapplying. I always carry a small decant with me. Before I hit the dance floor again at the beach electro party, I spray it on again. It simply enhances this incredibly beautiful feeling of life. Dancing barefoot in the sand and perceiving the top note of this fragrance while giving the sillage to the girls on the dance floor, that's what I dream of when I smell this scent.

The fragrance is fresh-aquatic, a bit floral, and still has a nice spiciness. It is labeled as unisex, but I find the spiciness makes it more of a men's fragrance.

Longing for Cheerfulness

It feels like we are currently experiencing the longest winter since the establishment of meteorological records. Two days ago, the sun finally made an appearance in the south and southwest after what felt like an eternity, a much too brief pleasure that, at least for me, immediately sparked a feeling of joy that I must admit I haven't felt in quite some time. Today, however, I find myself back in my space, once again torn about whether there is a need to resort to an artificial light source. Almost defiantly, I decide against it. Outside ... 50 meters of visibility and I am (once again) confronted with a wall of fog that almost exemplifies the times we have been enduring for nearly a year now.

The longing for cheerfulness, for sociability, and bubbling joy of life is not unusual for this time of year, but perhaps the longing has never been greater than in these days, at places like Venice Beach, where one longs to indulge in the long-awaited caresses of the spirit and leave all the dreariness behind.

About an hour ago, I decided to dig out the sample of Pacific Cannabis. I remembered a day in the summer of 2020 at the gym. The feeling of being under pressure was already familiar there, only in retrospect it felt like being in another world. Aquatically subtly sweet clouds made a good day even better back then, yet I now realize that I didn't appreciate it as I should have at the time; the desire for an "artificially" induced boost in well-being was simply hardly present.
On days like these, where the view outside seems to shatter against this relentless wall of fog, Pacific Cannabis is an olfactory embrace, a wink of hope that cements the belief in better times and makes them seem within reach. I feel better and experience a sense of gratitude.

Not new, but beautifully different ....

I neither possess absolute pitch nor a well "conditioned" nose. But since I have had the fragrance for a few days now and I like it, I found it a shame that there hasn’t been any comment on it so far.

So here is my brief description from an amateur's perspective ...

An absolutely interesting scent that is aquatically fresh and somehow special in its own way. Ordered as a blind buy, it has not disappointed me at all. It comes with what I consider to be an ambitious price tag.

The fragrance starts fresh and somehow immediately spreads a good mood for me. I don’t think it’s due to the (actually not present) cannabis, but I can’t really explain it either :-) It holds strong for 3-4 hours and then fades out very pleasantly over a longer period with its delicious base of driftwood and tonka bean.

I think it’s a scent that reveals its main strengths in spring and summer, even though it doesn’t necessarily require high temperatures.

I would buy it again, maybe during a voucher promotion :-)
