Druid scent
My first impression of this deeply dark Miss was: unruly, scratchy, stubborn and exhausting. Quasi a very young miss who still has to go through puberty. Her prefrontal cortex behind the forehead, where the conscious ego is located and which is responsible for action planning, emotion regulation, self-control, etc., is still undergoing reconstruction. Under the influence of the newly formed sex hormones, old circuits are being cut and new ones installed. And until this transformation is complete, there seem to be temporarily open nerve endings that have no connection to the brain and bring with them a bunch of question marks and uncertainty.
But apart from this first, superficial impression, there was something that captivated me and which I was very happy to give in to. As the evaluation of our sensory and other perceptions is based on an unconscious comparison with known content in our brain archive, I decided to follow up the first quick impression with further, more conscious perceptions. I spent time and attention to explore the fragrance in depth. And this extraordinary composition truly has depth.
If I had to assign colors to the fragrance, then it would be eggplant, iridescent with dark green, strewn with bright glittering elements, like snow crystals; because it is also a little cool in its space. Cool and warmly sensual. But one thing at a time.
In the KN, bright sparks sparkle against a dark green background, it literally crackles. This sparkle persists throughout the entire fragrance. Pure joie de vivre sparkles here. Wonderful! What else has been created in the dark, mysterious depths? Which seems to be calling to me? Nameless attraction! The miss seems to want to grow up.
And she tempts me with delicate, powdered flowers. "Just don't get too sweet," she seems to say, that would be too big a step all at once. She remains distant - AND attractive, this little minx. She likes this game.
And in order to keep the danger zone of soft femininity with latently open boundaries under control, she pulls a dark brown, rawhide camisole over her blossoming HN. "That's better," she says to herself, giving free rein to her femininity without getting lost in the process. And that's exactly what Miss does when transitioning from HN to BN.
And armed in this way, she finally allows full softness, warm, sensual, touching and open to all living things in the BN, in her soul's intimate zone.
Alive - yes, that's her. She affirms life and looks forward to everything that lies ahead.
This affirmation of life, this deep sense of highs and lows, of light and dark in us humans, of soft femininity and its power, seems to be the well-kept secret of this Druid fragrance, which only reveals itself as it unfolds.
It gives powers, this druid scent, vital powers. And perhaps the name of this mysterious miss is 'Morgaine'? ---
