I want to; no, I have to.
writing my first review here today, after several years at Parfumo, after dozens of ill-considered bad purchases, after swapping and intoxication... Some fragrances were allowed to stay, for longer... or even forever! Despite everything, I am always looking for the ONE FRAGRANCE! I wonder if there is one!
But now to the reason for this *writing*...
Today the "perfume" supplier once again (as so often) brought a surprise package (because it was the 101st blind purchase)
I'm always very curious to see if the yellow van from the well-known service provider will drive into my street((-;
Yes, and today that was the case once again
Impatiently unwrapped the parcel,
rustle rustle. Ah, there you are!!!
GsD nothing sprayed on it yet today or has it evaporated again?
Your name made me weak in the knees
Me; who loves to be outside, in wind and weather...preferably in the wind; sun doesn't necessarily have to be.
I also really like rain..the dryness of the last few summers makes me prefer wind and rain clouds even more.
So, now finally to the fragrance itself, although it all fits in wonderfully with Origins of Natur.
I had already written a statement today.
But this time it's just not enough.
Now, after almost five hours, I can still smell it.
For me, this is not a perfumey fragrance (I hope you know what I mean?)
No, it's more of a smell, a scent of the forest,
Not a bright, light-flooded forest...the dense treetops let little light and sun shine through.
Mossy, earthy...branches and leaves on the forest floor already exposed to the natural decomposition process.
Mushrooms and lichens love it here.
A scent of wet earth and very slight sweetness, perhaps from berries, which like this dampness and coolness here.
ORIGINS OF NATURE smells the same...after a long day outside, in the woods and fields.
After working in the earth... after sawn-up wood that has been lying by the wayside for some time...
After unadulterated fresh forest air, on a rainy day.
After coming home from outside in the wind and rain.
When the skin warms up again ...perhaps from a crackling fire in the fireplace..
Slightly smoky-ashy.
It smells homely and familiar..
I can smell all of this in ORIGINS OF NATURE..
The fragrance takes time and will of course smell different on every skin ( ... that's what makes fragrances so fascinating)
Incidentally, I cannot identify individual fragrance components.
But you can clearly smell the vetiver. Grassy green vetiver root! The woody one could be papyrus...although I don't really know what it smells like.
Cedarwood probably makes this fragrance smell
smell so woody. But maybe I'm reading too much into it.
Olfactory fantasy; that's how it should be!
An extraordinarily atypical fragrance from Dua.
For me, a discovery that brings a smile to my face.
It will accompany me on my next walk..
It will not falsify anything olfactorily...In the forest, in the field, in the tall grass...In wind and rain...Then, when nature shows its rough side.
I hope I have been able to introduce you to a wonderful and somewhat unusual fragrance with my fragrance debut.
