...what has happened here? Help! This is truly an affront to the nostrils. How could the wonderful Weil Pour Homme from the early 80s be so "improved"....
Nothing remains of the floral-woody-powdery Fougère blast from my early youth; the reformulation strongly reminds me of those dreadful scent mixtures often found in urinals in cube form.
No, no, if the Weil brothers had experienced this...their fur coats would have shed their hair (Note: Weil Frères was originally a fur manufacturing company that launched fragrances in the 1920s to mask the tanning odors of the pelts)
Since the parent company Parfums Weil was closed in the Paris Rue Courtambert and the new editions are offered by some investor, the quality of the Weil fragrances has really suffered...Antilope is just a Bambi now, Bambou is just fresh greenery, and Weil Pour Homme is Weil for nothing...
