F'ing Cherry - F'ing beautiful
You can think what you want about DUA, but what they have mixed together in this case is simply good in my opinion. Sure, this company saves on costly foundational work in creating fragrances, but what they then put together anew, copy, or create as "inspired clones" is unfortunately also beautiful. Morally questionable, but somehow also fascinating.
This is currently the only DUA fragrance in my possession, and it is a hybrid of "Lost Cherry@Tom Ford" and "Fucking Fabulous@Tom Ford." This mix is, in my opinion, perfectly executed, resulting in a sweet, cherry, leathery scent with excellent longevity and sillage.
The fragrance starts immediately with an intense cherry liqueur and almond note that is simply enchanting for the first 10 minutes. Then, very soon, the scent of fine, delicate suede comes in, layered with a bit of vanilla, tonka, and something balsamic - from here, the little sweet cherry lady transforms into a true lady. In other words, the scent becomes "mature" and moves away from pure fruity sweetness. The development of the fragrance is essentially complete for me - it remains beautifully cherry-like, mature, and that lasts for about 8 hours. The first 4 hours have noticeable sillage, then it gently fades.
I really like this fragrance, and I have been approached about it several times, as it seems to strike a good balance between "fruity-sweet-harmless" and "leathery-masculine-herbaceous" for those around me.
If you don't have too many issues with DUA and their philosophy, then this fragrance is definitely worth testing.
