A very surprising fragrance
ROSX is undeniably a well made perfume. It opens up strong with rose and because of this I was expecting it to stay floral, but I've been fooled. The cumin, jasmine, and patchouli work together to bring this fragrance way down into the depths of hell. It becomes gothic and somewhat dirty and I absolutely live for it.
After 30 minutes almost nothing about this fragrance's opening is resembled in the mid. It's so completely different - the rose is almost a backing presence to this dark, brooding earthiness. This is probably the most drastic journey of all the Lescento perfumes.
There is a touch of greenery present. ROSX doesn't display just the rose, but instead the whole plant and the darkness of the earth beneath it.
The fragrance will settle into a somewhat sweet, very earthy patchouli vanilla musk with hints of rose and greenery and it is jaw-dropping.
