Wood, Resin, and Furniture Polish
The opening is very woody and piercing. Resin is also immediately present. After a few minutes, a spicy note becomes increasingly intense; it took me a while to recognize it as cardamom. This combination of wood, resin, and spices really clears the nose.
After half an hour, I slowly start to feel like I'm smelling furniture polish. That stays the same for quite some time.
After a good hour, the woody side of 'Sweet Wood Desire' becomes stronger again, and the scent becomes soft and rounded; unfortunately, the furniture polish still lingers somewhat in the background.
After three hours, 'Sweet Wood Desire' begins to retreat, but at the same time, a slight sweetness, likely from the tonka bean, emerges in the scent progression.
There are no major changes to be smelled; only right before the end does it get a bit smoky, which could be from the vetiver.
'Sweet Wood Desire' is, for me, a masculine perfume. It is likely wearable in cooler temperatures. The sillage is moderate, and the longevity is a good eight hours.
