The olfactory masterpiece
I saw it for the first time on a school trip in summer 2024. I felt it in all its beauty and knew immediately that it would be the new purchase.
It all began on the morning of this impressive day:
I got ready in the morning, the sun was shining through my window and the weather was warm. I had been looking for a new fragrance for weeks. Something new that I hadn't seen before. Something that really convinced me. But I didn't have time. I had a lot to do for school, it was the time when we were writing a lot of papers and there was little time left for Parfumo. Finished with Eau de Citron Noir, one of my first real fragrances, I walked to the bus. I didn't have far to go, luckily the bus stop was near me. I felt the wind on my skin and at the same time the warm sun which gave me a very pleasant warmth. The bus always arrived on time and the bus driver already knew me and always complimented me on my scent. Every morning, his words put a smile on my face and it wasn't quite so bad getting on a full bus.
When I arrived at school, I greeted my friends, who had become very interested in perfume because of me. However, the atmosphere was different that morning. It was gloomy and nobody really dared to say anything. Because our destination. Well... it wasn't so cheerful. We were going on a school trip to Mauthausen concentration camp. A tragic place full of horror and suffering that you don't want to go to. Of course, it's important not to forget this and it's interesting from a historical point of view, but I couldn't shake the queasy feeling in my stomach the whole day. Once again, we got on the bus and had a 2-hour journey ahead of us. Plenty of time to deal with all sorts of things. Above all, the time was spent on Parfumo. New fragrances were discussed and discovered.
When I arrived, it was no longer as sunny as it had been this morning. I could no longer feel the warm sun on my skin, only the cold wind. The sky was cloudy and the atmosphere was gloomy. With my Eau de Citron Noir, my mood improved again, but I couldn't dispel the frightening mood.
After our visit to the horror center, we were allowed to stay in Linz. Once we arrived in Linz, we looked for activities we could do there. After a quick search on Google, we found a nice little niche perfumery not far from us. So we made our way there full of anticipation.
Once there, we were overwhelmed by the selection and didn't know where to start. So we simply started with Xerjoff and kept sniffing our way backwards. Halfway to our destination, we spotted the Bohoboco brand. First we picked up the Wild Carrot Oud and sprayed it. It was terrible. But we wanted to give the brand one last chance. We had discovered Wet Cherry Liquor on the bus earlier. We also sprayed this on a test strip and were not prepared for what awaited us. This interplay of sweet cherry and liqueur notes overwhelmed us. We couldn't find the words to describe the fragrance, it was as if it had taken us to another dimension. We had never smelled anything like it before. We all just looked at each other but no one said anything. We all knew this fragrance would be it. The next purchase. I sprayed it on my skin again and it only got better with time. I bought the fragrance straight away and was delighted with my new acquisition all day long. I wanted to show off this gem to everyone and I did.
