Normally, I really like incense. An incense like the one found in Full Incense and Cardinal. This one is different and much lighter. I think it has to do with the combination of lemon, elemi resin, and pink pepper in the top notes. However, the incense also fades relatively quickly, and the other ingredients come to the forefront.
Cedar and vanilla play only a minor role here. Primarily, it’s the white musk paired with cashmere wood with lavender hints that defines the scent.
I don’t know why, but somehow this all reminds me of a combination of Le Mâle Eau de Toilette and a creamy, citrusy aftershave.
H/S in the lower midfield. Not my thing, so no new luck!
