Escape to the front - again and again!
For me, Evasion is one of those fragrances for which I would pay fifty times the price. A pure evergreen, of which at least one spare bottle must be in the cupboard. But our start together was rather unspectacular. I thought he was quite nice at first, but he didn't knock my socks off. At some point I walked past our coat hook in the hallway, where a scarf was hanging that I had generously sprayed the day before, and thought Wow! What smells so good in here?
That's how love was born on the second nose.
The fragrance contains jasmine, hyacinth, honeysuckle and lily of the valley, delicately bedded on a base in which I suspect amber, sandalwood, iris, vanilla and musk. It is sweet, but absolutely unsweet, which is certainly due to the "year of manufacture" 1970, in which rather tart chypres set the tone. Evasion even bears a strong resemblance to a classic of this vintage: Rive Gauche by Yves Saint Laurent. I wanted to love this one for a long time, but somehow it has a metallic note that gets on my nerves. Evasion exudes the same spirit of the times as Rive Gauche, but it's soft-blooded and much more feminine.
I doubt that the production has actually been stopped; at the moment this great fragrance is available for a ridiculous price from many suppliers. Nevertheless, I have put a few bottles aside as a precaution....

like a yellow-white summer dress
For me it is a special moment every year when I put on one of the light dresses for the first time in the season and put my bare feet in the strappy sandals: finally summer is!
Since some parts of my wardrobe survived decades and are still wearable, this often means not only "summer", but also "memories".

"Evasion" is like one of these beautiful summer dresses: light, lively and at the same time classic in its yellow-white charm.
Rich white flowers of the early summer seducers lily of the valley, jasmine and later hyacinths exude their slightly intoxicating, originally feminine aroma.
In addition there is a rich yellow-flowered honeysuckle scent, which completes this summer idyll.

In "Evasion", the Bourjois house only manages with these few flower scents; a fragrant fabric enchants like the first, long-awaited summer days.
Without a lot of noise this fragrance comes along and remains surprisingly long for its lightness.

Some might call "evasion" boring: but is the first flowering of summer boring?
Let's not look more than once to enjoy the delicate colours and scents?

"Evasion" is worth a second look!
A graceful, elegant women's fragrance blows with tender lightness.
A scent of blossoms, the impregnated summer breeze, lovingly plays around and spreads cheerfulness: the relaxed cheerfulness of a summer day.

Here I know no excuses...
...to "take out" this scent. Because for me: Chypres still deserve it!!
Even though some mainstream perfumers turn up their noses and mock it as "granny scent".
If some people didn't have grandmothers, they'd look really "old. " But unacknowledged envy may sometimes be the cause of such stupid sayings. Envy that they don't dare... although they would like the scent itself..
"Evasion has all the attributes that make a really nice, "old-fashioned" chypre. Citrus herbaceous at the start, flowery, collector-like, soft heart and with a lot of "inky" fairytale forest oak moss peppered with a crisp woody base, in which even a small pussy cat may be hidden.
And from time to time her claws will extend.
It is neither a dupe of any other fragrance, although in its flowery phase it does show "Tosca-like" traits. The then in the "Nachgeruch" (yes, "Evasion" is also powdery like fragrance techno) echoes of "Maja" may show, because there is also a certain spice in the fragrance.
However, the longer I follow the course of the fragrance, the more details come to light that I had NOT yet noticed at the first test.
Since there is no fragrance pyramid, not only my nose can follow. Something like "birch tar" which has a leather-like scent, and also a good portion of vetyver I can recognize as well as spice or carnation.
In any case, there remains a little secret that "Evasion" may keep to itself. But that doesn't matter, because then it seems all the more interesting. Just high-grade "omig" , and suckut!!!!!
