Do you like lemon?
A frog walked up to a perfume stand, and he said to Demachy, running the stand: "hey, got any grapes?"
Demachy said: "no, we just sell Equateur, but it's lemon, it's fresh, and it's really, really cheap. Can I get you a flask?"
The frog said: "oh yeah."
Got Equateur as a gift back in 2017, together with Masculin Ouragan Eau de Toilette, Masculin Acier Sport and some other folks. I still remember that Sunday, and that awful project I had to finish.
Fresh lemon, but it gets sweeter later on. I do enjoy it on spring and warmer autumn days. It stays with me throughout the day, just one spray and it won't leave for anything. Oh, yeah, have I told you it smells like lemon? Like, I feel like I'm doing a lemon cosplay whenever I wear it. Hope you like lemon, because this guy here is pretty much lemon. It's kinda like the, uh, Jo Malone's Red Roses, but with lemon. At least that's how I think of it. Lemon.
It's not my favourite, and I still prefer Ouragan, but it has its moments. I mean, it's really good for wearing something different from my usual rotation, and fits really nice with a casual warm afternoon of doing nothing, maybe playing RPG or poker with friends, or just chatting while having some coffee/tea.
Some may say it smells like old people. Well, my mother says it smells like something my grandfather would wear, and he was born in 1917, so I think it adds up. And I'm a bit old-fashioned when it comes to perfumes, so there's that too.
