A Russian fairy tale
A perfume straight out of a Russian fairy tale — airy, luminous, with a kind soul. When I first spray it, there’s this light freshness touched by citrus and green notes that instantly feel clean and uplifting. Then soft, creamy florals bloom, adding sweetness without ever turning cloying. After about 40–45 minutes, gentle woody and musky tones start to show up, still keeping that clean, comforting DNA.
It vaguely reminds me of A Drop d’Issey— same nostalgic vibe, but with a touch more warmth and softness.
I love it because it has a dual soul: fresh yet cozy, bright but never cold. It’s the kind of scent that makes me feel calm.
And what makes it extra special to me: holding a Russian perfume in my hands (well, at least on paper — the perfumer is Bertrand Duchaufour) brings back memories of my university years and the months I spent there.

The Story of Nadja Nadezhda and Miroslav Mironovitsh.
Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Nadja. When Nadja Nadezhda was not busy eating lemons with powdered sugar for breakfast and sucking on candies, she gifted those around her a smile. This delicate, barely noticeable smile, which also took on her light blue eyes, enchanted people day by day, without them having the slightest idea of how it had happened.
Nadja Nadezhda seemed so cheerful and carefree that no one would have ever guessed that she harbored a secret - one of the kind that would lead her to sell her soul, jump from a bridge, and end her young life.
For Nadja was mute; she never spoke a single word. This led people to regard her as something never seen before, beautifully intriguing yet with a cool distance.
On the other side was Miroslav. Miroslav Mironovitsh, who gave Nadja strength, like a talisman, a healing plant, or like the small branch he handed to Nadja before his departure.
‘With her eyes fixed on a blurred horizon, it rained silently from the ceiling.’
‘When he left, she cried,’ salty tears on his skin. They tasted so sweet.
Nadja ‘fell to her knees and begged him to stay.’
Soon, she lost what Miroslav had left her. What remained were the flowers in the garden that they had planted together. They were so unique that every time she saw them, she had to think of Miroslav, and the memory would painfully wash over her. For five hours each day, she thought of him and could water the flowerbed with her tears. ‘But she had not closed her heart forever.’ Every day, ‘she bit her’ rose-colored lips and continued to hope that he would return. She carried the hope within her and out into the world. She radiated, eerily quiet and gentle.
No matter how many tears she may have shed until today: Nadja Nadezhda dies last. Miron will return like ‘every fate that is connected to him.’ One day, even if only in memory, in which we all remain alive.
‘I believe in you as much as I don’t even believe in myself,’ were his last words to her.
Until now.
For if Nadja has not died, she still walks the world today, bringing light to all she encounters.
And Miron will come and free her and her soul. For ‘when all paths lead to nothing, it is time to return home.’

‘Inspiration’ (in German translation and interpretation):
Homie - Ptitsa Raj
Lesha Svik - Plakala
Oxxxymiron ft. Bi-2 - Pora vozvrashchat‘sja domoj
Antonín Dvořák - Rusalka (Opera, based on the fairy tale “Rusalka”)

Summary:
- Romance factor: 11/10
- “Color” of the fragrance: light blue, pink, with minimal yellow-green hints in the base notes
- Base notes: yellow-green, then light blue, citrus-sweet, refreshing, candy vibes
- Heart notes: pink; flowers, unique bouquet, you can smell magnolia (similar to Versace Bright Crystal, only more beautiful), marshmallows are clearly recognizable, emphasized with vanilla, while something salty brushes the nose, like seawater/ tears on the skin;
no further notable development
- Longevity: +/- 5 hours, better to reapply
- Sillage: better to reapply, quickly becomes close to the skin

The Swan Princess
Swan Lake, the famous ballet by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, is one of the few classical works that touches me and gives me goosebumps every time. Is it the gentle vibrations of the harp and string instruments, the somber melody of the oboe, or the tragedy of the story being told? I don't know, but anyone who has the chance to be present at a live performance is left half enchanted, half melancholic. It’s no wonder that it is the dream of every ballerina to dance the coveted dual role of Odette/Odile, embodying both the white and the black swan at the same time.

"Царевна Лебедь/The Swan Princess" is a truly beautiful fragrance, which seems very fitting for a swan princess. It smells floral and green, cool yet gentle. None of the floral notes stand out distinctly for me, and the marine notes, which are meant to evoke the theme of the lake, thankfully show up only subtly and not at all piercing. However, I can imagine that they contribute to the fresh, somewhat cool, and aloof aura. The marshmallow note adds at most a hint of sweetness and softness, creating a lovely contrast to the juniper, which I really enjoy in the perfume, and which accompanies the entire scent with its dry herbaceousness. On my skin, the fragrance hardly develops a progression, except that it starts off rather fresh and cool and becomes slightly warmer and powdery over time as the musk reveals itself along with the vanilla in the base.
The scent is more Odette than Odile, more white than black; I cannot detect a dark side. It appears noble and delicate, almost fragile, and radiates a graceful elegance.

Depending on the interpretation, Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake usually does not have a happy ending. Typically, at least one of the two lovers, often both, Odette and Siegfried, meet their demise.
Unfortunately, "Царевна Лебедь/The Swan Princess" leaves me far too quickly, becomes skin-close after an hour, and is gone after four hours, leaving only the memory of its beauty and elegance behind.

I don’t need to say much about the bottle; either you love something like this, as I do, or you find it very kitschy. A thousand thanks to dear Parfuma for sharing this treasure with me, and if the scent were a bit more enduring, it would immediately find a place in my collection.

Uncommented, because... where can you get it???
The scent itself is certainly not the problem.
I received a small amount of it in a giveaway package (thanks again BleuDQ), otherwise I probably would have never heard of it in my life.
In general, I only comment on fragrances that I really know well, but here, wearing it twice should suffice - because now it's all gone :-(
But it can't be left completely uncommented.

Scent impression: the first 30 minutes remind me of an ice candy, really great and unusual, a mix of very fresh and synthetically sweet (in a good way - just like an ice candy that smells fresher than it tastes), after the first half hour the top note fades significantly and becomes overall creamier, a bit green (like spearmint, which also hides a good bit of candy-like sweetness under its sharpness) and overall more like an ice candy dissolved in mineral water, but still sweet
After 3-4 hours it becomes a skin scent, but for personal enjoyment, you still have a few hours of it left

Conclusion: I've never smelled anything like this before, I found it really really beautiful, but you would have to reapply it more often (if only you knew where to get it)

And I really like the style of the bottle

So if anyone knows where to find it (Russian company?)... just let it out!

Cool + arrogant, the princess dances across the floor. Like a fairy. Surrounded by a gentle sea of flowers with green-herb notes. Noble + graceful.

A fragrant picture of my mysterious Russian soul... Cool on the outside, warm at heart. So beautifully different, yet somehow familiar.

Light-footed, graceful, and very elegant, the ballerina dances her most beautiful act. Salty tears of emotion and standing ovations. A masterpiece.

A scent for delicate and modern princesses, citrus notes emerge, only to blend with magnolia and vanilla...

It has something, actually quite simple, but the Brocard fragrances still have something that makes them somehow special.

I think the comparison to ice candies is spot on in the opening. Fruity elfin floral, sensual, graceful, soft - especially beautiful.

First a fine lemon candy, then it takes on powdery floral nuances. Delicate yet present. Lightly aquatic fresh. Very, very beautiful!
