The kettle's whistling!
Discreetly flavored black tea steeps in a preheated porcelain pot and exudes a warm, intense fragrance. The aroma is tart lemon and dry sultry flowers, especially magnolia. There is nothing fresh or light about it. Rather, it hints at the character of a dried, brittle tea leaf blend. Thus, in my opinion, the fragrance has a pleasantly rich heaviness that is coherent with its name.
Primarily responsible for the cozy black tea steam, however, is the woody musk. This works from the beginning noble and at the same time musty in a sensual base of sandalwood and cinnamon powder. Later still a slightly smoky-ozonige note plays in, which I attribute to the ambergris.
Dark Delight is a heavy, warm black tea scent and as such probably a reference. Although nothing really bothers me about this fragrance, I would rather not wear it for reasons of taste.
