Solo for two

First and foremost, Assolo is an eau de parfum in which the bright green Granny Smith apple unmistakably plays first fiddle. Nice crisp and with a slight acidity, but also a little overdone, as you know it from shampoos or fruit gums that do not come clearly natural.

If you go a little deeper into the matter, quite delicate scents of lime, mugwort and light woody nuances sound. But in between, another voice makes itself strong, which one does not necessarily have on the screen and which hardly anyone knows. It's reseda, a green herbaceous plant that was even used for dyeing in the past. It is also the name given to the shade of reseda green, which some may know as a base coat for machinery or technical equipment such as traffic lights or bridges.
Olfactory Reseda is located between herbaceous and violet-like and can assert itself here next to the very dominant apple only subliminally, but perceptible, provided that you get involved.

Otherwise, not much happens in Assolo, unfortunately. No development, no surprise and at some point, the rather monotonous apple along with complex entourage can not really convince. Overall, a nice fragrance, but only seriously interesting if you are big Granny Smith fan and like the fresh-citrus-green-floral-herbaceous-woody tones in the background.
