My dad's first own (And signature) frag

My dad bought a small bottle of this in the early 1990's and started wearing it on the first guitar gigs he played at the end of his music bachelor studies. (He had obviously had other fragrances when being younger but Carlo Corinto Classic was the first one he bought by himself)

A nice aromatic and citrus opening scent, then goes into a heavy raspberry note and then into a leather and cedarwood drydown. Personally it also reminds me of a pine tree or stuff. The longevity is nice and the price is ridiculous, this in Mexico nowadays costs around 25 bucks brand new for a 100ml bottle.

Bottom line: To me one of the greatest works of art in the perfumery world. Btw i imagine Elton John in the "I'm Still Standing" video wearing this frag, who knows why.

Edit: The note breakdown is incorrect here. This fragrance doesn't have any cardamom or carnation in the slightlest. I would actually also say it doesn't have any pine, and the amber note is not as present as the site says. The actual note breakdown is:

Top: Citrus, aromatic herbs such as basil, thyme, sage
Heart: Raspberry
Base: Patchouli, Leather, Cedar, Vetiver

Not as much as a fougere either. It's closer to the chypre family, but the best way to point it out is a wood, fruity, leathery, aromatic fragrance, with no nuances that point it to either a chypre nor a fougere.
