If Dreams Had Wings....
.....this fragrance would fly to me. Surfaced from "old stocks" of some private perfumery, and offered at a bargain for fragrance lovers.
But unfortunately, this dream scent has no wings; I must settle for a 3 ml miniature. But this "Mon Otage" has a lot to offer.
The "victim" of this fragrance is my nose, and with it the "limbic system," which is responsible for sensations, among other things.
A(nd these two have become victims of a powerful floral chypre, where the rose is the dominant note. Not sweet, rather spicy-rosy, along with leaves and stems.
And that follows a fresh-green opening. With galbanum and bergamot???
Then a fine hint of musk mixes in. No sweet note, rather something rougher and deeper.
The previously popular "nitromusk with "smoky" accents??
With a mossy base, supported by amber and patchouli, possibly also earthy vetiver. "Mon Otage" is not a fragrance of the night, nor necessarily one of the day.
It most reminds me of hazy twilight, where shadows "bloom," and dreams?
They can certainly take flight with this fragrance, even if only in the imagination....
