Santa Paula Canyon
The summit of Topa Topa Mountain is a shimmering blue ice candy, melting into cool bay leaf oils, lemon-fresh waterfalls, in the mist from the bitter pores of bright orange peels, where orange rainbows shimmer in the bitter sage-green winds of the morning in Santa Paula Canyon. You feel the moisture at your feet, leaving solitary tracks in the frost, in the scruffy meadows of stems in the shadow of the spicy needles of the fir trees. The moment fills your alveoli, your breath paints clouds that freeze in the image, further down you see a few blue cedars sketching themselves into the landscape with a pencil.

Chiseled Face is a family-owned business from Greenville, Ohio, that mainly specializes in shaving and grooming products for men. Many of the perfumes and aftershaves are, like the fragrance presented here, made from 100% natural raw materials.
"Santa Paula" represents the spirit of the small town of the same name in California, which is also known as the citrus capital of the world. It greets us with an almost icy-cool accord of herb-green and fresh-hesperidic notes. The extremely sparkling-citrusy laurel plant Litsea Cubeba stands out a bit more here than the essential oil from the peels, leaves, and branches of the bitter orange, while Petitgrain comes across as very stemmy green. Clary sage adds further herb-green overtones. Soon the spicy needles of the Siberian fir become clearly perceptible, before the valley exhales the scent of its citrus fruits onto distant pencil cedars. The initially moderate projection quickly becomes skin-close, where Santa Paula, for an aftershave, remains noticeably present for a good four hours, which is already above average.
