Irresistible...

... and that's what my friend says. For almost the first time!
Nomade Absolu de Parfum knocks even him off his feet. Hear hear...

Too sweet, too heavy, too much.
That's usually the canon that he and my mom sing.
I like to talk both of their ears off when a new bottle or a new sample has found its way into my fragrance collection. You have to get some unbiased feedback! I usually like to be very euphoric and run to my cell phone or PC with fluttering flags to tell everyone here how GREAT I think fragrance XY is again. Unfortunately, among so many fragrance maniacs there is often someone who will agree with you..... d

This time it was different with Nomade. Not the usual too sweet, too heavy, you know what I mean.
No. This time there were surprised ooohs and aaahs, "that smells great!" from mom, my boyfriend immediately found it very feminine and "irresistible". I thought I was hearing wrong????? I was ecstatic. FINALLY!

What I think is convincing about this fragrance is that it is - simply - not too heavy or too sweet.
I would put it more in the "suitable for the masses" category.
It starts off fruity and fresh. I would almost say with a slightly citrusy freshness. I can hardly say with a clear conscience whether or not I can actually smell mirabelle plum. There is fruit, if I read Mirabelle, I would say that's true - but if I hadn't listed it here, I would find it difficult to name a fruit.
Oakmoss and davana - after I just had to ask Google what the heck davana smells like, I was able to find that it is slightly woody, tea-like sweet, sometimes reminiscent of dried fruit, especially plum. The latter therefore goes wonderfully with mirabelle plum. Oak moss adds a slightly earthy touch.
I would emphasize sandalwood and musk. Due to the (probably?) slightly woody notes from the heart, sandalwood works wonderfully here to reinforce this a touch. I often find musk to be clean and powdery. Sometimes floral. Here too.

The overall result is a delicately fresh, slightly fruity-sweet fragrance with dusty, powdery and woody notes. But also velvety and warm somehow.
I find it the perfect everyday companion. It's great for the office and leisure time, but I don't find it too boring for going out either. A super all-rounder!
Durability and sillage are not 10/10 hammers. But the fact that it is so beautiful without corners or edges doesn't bother me in the slightest. It is soft and feminine, somehow a little "vintage".

It looks quite inconspicuous, but is still special and above all uniquely beautiful.
