I was in my late 20s when this came out. I was reticent then to try it and I don't recall as to why. Maybe it was the bottle shape maybe the fact that I was put off by the bottle and the fact to me it looked like a well worn bar or soap. I must've assumed then that it was soapy fougere scent. I didn't want.

I tested this recently and I hate that I mistakenly turned my nose up at this. On the initial sniff, there is a an effervescent fizz to the woody note, and a smooth creamy spice. It is a oddly familiar but also novel woody chypre fragrance.

I see others have likened this to Gucci Pour Homme 2 and Bentley Absolute; I can see a slight similarity.
