Sun & loose musk fluff clouds

I actually do not have it so with the Tauer DNA. I found his fragrances all artistically well done but never suitable for me personally. One always had such a muddy-earthy basic DNA.

This one I have seen and felt from the fragrance notes while reading already somehow attracted to it.
Also from the beautiful white bottle.

So how is this fragrance now.
When spraying a beautiful lemon blossom already welcomes directly in combination with the powdery iris root. The sillage is very neat for my sensation. If you go closer with the nose, you can perceive the slightly earthy Tauer DNA very well (I suspect it comes here through the vetiver). However, it does not remain strongly present here.
It is definitely also a clean clear scent however with a very addictive nuance. I have to smell it again and again, I can not stop with it. A pleasant feeling spreads in my amygdala.
Over time, it becomes woodier and also amber. Oak moss in the base I can also smell out very well.
Rose hovers just slightly in the background. Tonka gives a slight sweetness.

All in all, a very successful and for me also very round thing. The bottle fits so wonderfully to the fragrance, because it triggers lightness in me.

What is the connection between Opus-Arte from Swan Lake by P.I. Tchaikovsky and the new perfume Nexin by A. Tauer?

A fragile, windy cool to metallic cold citrus scent with iris roots in moss, with slightly spicy woods from No. 12 and aldehydes from the aromatic pentachord trio (Auburn, Verdant, White) on a musky aldehyde cloud. The perfume, released in honor of the brand's 18th anniversary, has the final number 9 (1+8), with the number 9 completing the 9-year life cycle in numerological terms. My bottle has the number 163 and this means 1 (1+6+3=10; 1+0=1 and the one is reinforced by zero). Nexin can be seen as the end or even the beginning of something new in Andy's work. Let's see which direction he will take. And what does Nexin smell like? As is Andy's habit when it comes to something significant. Nexin is something special - a delicate, austere, metallic cold, floral and striking scent all in one. What I appreciate about it is its difference to neutrality and its detachment from the distinctly sweet or distinctly fruity, earthy and airy creations of its two nine-year-old predecessors. When I look at the white bottle, the Opus Arte music from P.I. Tchaikovsky's ballet Swan Lake comes to mind. With every sniff, I associate this beautiful piece of music with Andy.

This is my first Tauer fragrance and I must say, I am not disappointed whatsoever. Nexin will take you on a journey of smelling wild flowers in its natural habitat.

Initial spray, you’ll be greeted by the florals. Easily the orange blossom and cold geranium are noticeable. Also, there is a note I’m not familiar with that smells divine. Maybe lemon blossom or orris root? I’m not sure, but it marrys well with the other notes.

While the top notes are dazzling your olfactive senses, the earthiness from the vetiver, ambergris and oakmoss are running parallel from the start also. Kinda reminds me of a freshly watered flowerbed with damp soil. This is my favorite part because I love vetiver and oakmoss.

Nexin is unisex in the opening and leans masculine in the dry down, but I can see everyone enjoying this.

Sillage and projection are good.

If this wasn’t a limited run, I think many would enjoy wearing this in the spring, summer and autumn.

Peacetul morning in a cottage

Why did Andy Tauer decide to call this perfume NEXIN? He says it captures the essence of our connection with the cosmos and the stars. When you google what nexin means you will find out it is a proteinous inter-doublet linkage.... gets a bit more complicated but the linkage is the key word here.
My personal scent story with NEXIN is not under dark sky full of stars. I see it linked to morning sky.
I imagine myself inside a cottage, remote, on a hill. It is spring time. Early morning. I am in the kitchen baking a lemon cake and the smell of lemon zest is everywhere. On my windowsill I grow pelargoniums, the kind that have leaves smelling of lemon and rose. I look outside onto the garden and see a gentle breeze touching the white linen drying. Sky is pale blue and so is the sun. It is peaceful.
I see NEXIN linked to pale blue, pale yellow and white.
I see it linked to cripsy washed white shirts in L'EAU, orange detergents in Orange star and Alpine air in L'Air Des Alpes Suisses.
If you like above three, you will enjoy it.
