Heavy Green, the Base Note
This raven has a powerful wingbeat! Under its wings, the wind moves, warm, carried by herbs, gliding in with a vanilla breeze and settling on my forearm. From then on, full attention, because it is lively - and heavy.
By the way, Abraxas is only a raven in the little witch's story. Otherwise, there are: The god above all gods and a Santana album. And now also a horse. So in every respect, a powerful heavyweight.

To be honest, it’s a bit too much for me. Like a thick herbal extract infused with vanilla and patchouli. Admittedly: The deep green, glowing tone is very beautiful, the resins bring a bit of freshness. The vanilla supports this green base note and adds golden flecks. Patch is Mother Earth.

Ormonde Jayne's Woman and Man and Merchant of Venice's Asian Inspiration brewed and aged for 100 years in an oak barrel. Then fermented. And from that, a perfume was made. Not for the faint-hearted, then. But it will surely find its lovers.

The Raven Calls!
Silver moon in the twilight bathes the silent forest in a pale light
Look - the night is breaking in and with the wind comes the raven
He calls to you:
Follow the drumbeat. Come to the fire. It is Beltane!

There on the clearing it flickers,
a lively, blazing fire
With wood, fine resin and with herbs in the smoke
We honor the gods with offerings.

And bright laughter, and chimes, wild drumming and singing,
break the night and the silence
The fire crackles, the flames leap high
And whirling we dance with the sound.

Crowned with blossoms, entwined with herbs,
I too dance in the moonlight.
Like the raven, so free and unbound
I am the messenger of spring!

Where is my companion? My summer prince?
I sense he is searching for me too.
He smells of the forest and cedar wood
Of sweet moss and the black earth.

Now he catches me. Quickly I flee.
So goes the ancient game
Ever faster and quicker we whirl in the dance
Separated and entwined in the reddish light.

The raven calls: It is midnight!
We have found each other
If you catch me, I’ll catch you, If you are mine, I am yours
Tonight we are one and connected.

Great Scent
The raven is the namesake of this brilliant fragrance. It might be fitting in some way. When I think of ravens, I think of fog, bare trees, cemeteries, elegant animals, the color black, and above all, autumn. I also believe that the autumn mood is what can be attributed to this scent. But not in the form of bare trees, rather as a versatile season. The fragrance is extremely interestingly composed. The smoky notes dominate, which are consistently present. Alongside that, there are a lot of other scents like vanilla, a hint of fruitiness, or woods, which have been combined in a very complex yet absolutely harmonious way. It is more of a scent for the colder season, but it can easily be worn year-round. I would classify it as more masculine. It will definitely be part of my regular collection.

The black raven Abraxas spread its wings and shook itself: a scent of fruits, spices, and wood cascaded from the church tower.

Herbs and berries. Glow and smoke. The beast on its shoulder. A dialogue between twilight and night. The black feather falls into the fire.

The cauldron of herbs, berries, and resins, the fire smokes and blazes.
The slightly more socially acceptable Interlude Man. Fantastic!

In a hidden cabin in the woods, the herbal witch stirs the cauldron over the blazing fire, mumbling faded words, lost to the world.

Well, you might use so much thyme in food, but not that much in a perfume. Abraxas hits you with a green-spicy punch in the nose.
