First satisfied, then thrilled!

First of all ... By chance I had probably the luck that I stumbled at the right time on the page of a small perfumery from France, which had the fragrance just on sale. Have him of course immediately ordered and shortly thereafter he was already sold out. Just under a week later, the package with the bottle arrived with me and I have now been able to test the fragrance extensively for a few days and wear it in everyday life.

My impression during the first test reflected pretty much exactly what was already described in the first review below: Short Aventus-like start with grapefruit and relatively quickly the transition to a lighter or lighter Sauvage Elixir. I was satisfied for now, because I like Sauvage Elixir and I liked the combination with the Aventus vibes.

The more often I have worn the fragrance in recent days, however, the more a different picture has emerged for me: At the beginning clear similarity to the original Aventus and namely to the rather slightly darker and berry-heavy batches. In addition, however, a tart grapefruit, which brings a pleasant freshness with pure. The whole thing lasts about up to two hours, whereby a slight smokiness develops over time, as I know it from newer batches such as the 21N01 or from the Emperor Extrait. After two to three hours, the somewhat warmer and spicy notes are added more and more, which show a clear difference to the original. Here a comparison to the Sauvage Elixir is still quite appropriate in my perception. However, it is for me now rather slight similarities between the two fragrances and in no way they smell completely the same. Above all, the Aventus vibes remain quite in the background and everything fits together nicely.

To put it briefly in a nutshell, or at least to try.... A darker and spicy, somewhat warmer version of the Aventus, which is accompanied by a tart, citrusy freshness in the early stages and also reveals parallels to a Sauvage Elixir in the course.

Overall, it does not seem at all linear to me, but rather very multi-faceted and multi-layered with a varied scent progression. At the beginning I was satisfied with the new Absolu Aventus - meanwhile I am thrilled by him!
