Not a Comparison Review
Performance: On skin that doesn't come in contact with clothes, it lasts 7-8 hours, with the first two hours being a moderate sillage and the remaining hours a skin scent. On skin that comes in contact with clothes, it lasts 4-5 hours, with moderate sillage for the first hour and skin scent for remaining time. On exterior clothes, it lasts 7-9 hours, with moderate sillage for the first 3 hours and then a "clothes" scent for the remaining time. Overall, this fragrance is very sensitive to friction. This scent will rub off in 3 hours if the applied skin comes in contact with clothes or the applied clothes come into contact with other clothes. Also, the last 2-3 of the fragrance's duration is more of a close skin scent than a skin scent.

Scent: This is an airy, creamy, mildly sweet wood fragrance. There is no development to this fragrance. It smells the same at every point of its duration. The primary feeling here is airy-ness. The wood notes are aromatic is a light way, like fresh shavings. And the cardamom note adds a slightly powdery, creamy note, creamy in the way that rice pudding is creamy rather than milk chocolate creamy. This isn't a sweet fragrance, but there's sweetness here, and it really rounds things out quite well. There's no smokiness or astringency from the palo santo and papyrus notes at all. I'm not able to single out the palo santo note from the papyrus notes, so it's unclear what's contributing what, but it is clear that it works.

Strong, Dry, Warm Wood
At the beginning of my fragrance enthusiasm, there were small bottles of scent oils in the Indian shops that were sprouting up everywhere, as well as at the numerous pop-up stands, for example, on Ku'Damm. I was particularly taken with the woody scents.

Palo Santo by Cremo evokes clear memories of that.
At first, a light aromatic note from the cardamom is noticeable, which is quickly and persistently replaced by the strong, dry, and warm woodiness of the Palo Santo. The scent, reminiscent of cedar and sandalwood, has a mild and slightly sweet hint that recalls incense or coconut.

Since it is an Eau de Toilette, you can apply a few extra sprays, allowing the woody scent to be perceptible close to the skin even after eight hours.
In principle, suitable for any season, this not very complex fragrance should be great for layering, adding a distinct wood component to (too) sweet, fruity, or floral scents.

Currently, the American company offers a total of 13 fragrances that can be ordered. However, Cremo Germany is only distributing four fragrances at the moment. Palo Santo is one of them.
It's worth keeping an eye out for offers, so you can get a large shower gel along with 100 ml of EdT at a reduced price.

The bottle with the embossed name on the front and side is special.
However, visible savings were made on the cap and the attached label.

Lightly-waxy/green papyrus + woody palo santo. The cardamom adds subtly-creamy and indolic nuances in the background.

Parallel to Le Labo Santal 33, not a dupe, but a budget friendly option. Fresh, woody, bright, but not beastly. Dunhill Century nuances.

Loved the beard serum so much that I got the EDT. Sandalwood but darker, old books, bit of salt and lime. Old school college library vibes!

Balsamic scent that touches the soul - euphoric! Slightly sweet with exotic charm, woody-green-dry-eucalyptus.

I got the Ana Abiyedh and Paolo Santo today. I don't know if I'm imagining it, but the scents smell quite similar?!
