I like "Interesting is unfortunately not enough"

The first (and last) time I came across Cristiana Bellodi's bottles at a perfume fair, they still had oversized, elaborately designed caps in the shape of mirrored cubes. I will definitely remember that better than the fragrances themselves.

In the meantime, the caps have become smaller and more conventional. But apparently there is still a demand for this small niche label. "I", the fragrance itself, is relatively complex and starts with citrusy greetings plus a delicate rose. Just a few moments later, the opening is slightly chaotic, as almost all the notes seem to want to push their way to the front.

Then floral, fruity and resinous nuances flash up here and there. Honey is also not to be missed. But shortly afterwards, the whole creation becomes more of a mishmash and the individual ingredients can no longer be easily identified. What may still stand out is the hint of what appears to be berry fruit combined with some rose and orchid. Nice, but it is becoming a little too feminine for a unisex fragrance.

This is followed after a short time by a penetrating metallic note, which makes you wonder whether it is intentional or an accessory. In the end, you are left with a strange mixture of floral nuances, which fortunately do not seem too sweet or even synthetic, but are anything but convincing. Yet the beginning was so promising and intriguing. You shouldn't have high expectations when it comes to H/S either. As already mentioned above: an interesting approach, but unfortunately not convincing!
