CR7 Play It Cool Cristiano Ronaldo 2019 Eau de Toilette

I bought it a little while ago after finding out about its release, as I own all the other cr7 and legacy products wanted to see how this one fares.
On the initial spray I detect the pear it’s fresh slightly sweet and juicy there is some marine accord as well and gives it a breezy feel.
As it drys down you get a bit of sweetness from the Tonka but it’s not overwhelming it still Stays fresh , reminds me of voyage by Nautica In a way but without voyages biggest weakness: longevity.
On my skin it pushes at arms length for a good one and a half to two hours the total longevity is a good six to seven hours, on clothing will last all day.
I work as a mechanic and as you could imagine the things we come in contact with oils, grease, fuel all have pretty strong scents the only thing that was able to mask it was once getting drowned in fuel changing a fuel filter lol
Other than that it lasts surprise for a fresh scent. Dealing with customers you don’t want to come across overwhelming and it doesn’t.
Its fresh and pleasant and the price don’t know about Europe or USA price but in Australia it’s $40 for one hundred ml bottle can’t complain about that!
I recommend it as a cheap spring/summer daily.
I find six sprays is ideal two on the neck two on the collar of shirt and two on inner elbow and it gives you a nice scent bubble.
I know there is some other good alternatives out there and maybe you don’t like CR but it smells good to me, at least give it a smell and I think it could surprise you.
If I had any criticism of it the bottle cap tends to come off as try to pull it out of the box and the atomiser is okay but you may need to go a bit heavy on the trigger to get good distribution.

Damals habe ich diesen Duft 2020 zum ersten mal in Konstanz, mitten in der Mall, im Müller gesehen und wollte ihn unbedingt ausprobieren. Als erstes dachte ich mir so: Was??? Ronaldo hat ein Parfüm rausgebracht? Ich war in dem Moment richtig baff und beschloss den auszuprobieren und was soll ich sagen? Er gefiel mir ziemlich, ziemlich gut.

Also kaufte ich ihn ein paar Wochen später, als 100ml Version für ziemlich wenig Geld muss ich sagen.

Er riecht ziemlich gut und ist sehr angenehm zu tragen, daher habe ich auch schon von mehreren Mädchen im Urlaub Komplimente dazu bekommen, unter anderem zuletzt von meiner Freundin, die mir dann zum 19. Geburtstag die 30ml Version kaufte, da sie ihn soooo gut fand. Sie findet den Duft von allen die ich habe am besten, besser als jedes Parfüm von Parfums de Marley oder irgendein Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, der nur nach Rooibostee riecht

Leider nur Eau de toilette, weswegen die Haltbarkeit und Sillage nicht sehr überragend sind, was aber nichts ausmacht. Man riecht ihn auch noch nach 4 - 5 Stunden gut.

Fazit:
Ich empfehle jeden diesen Duft für den Frühling und Sommer, der einen gut riechenden, frischen Duft für wenig Geld haben möchte :)

Cristiano Ronaldo is a football player I have never liked. Nevertheless, I purchased Play it cool EdT based on many recommendations and positive statements. And my expectations have largely been met.

The scent starts off fresh and sweet. Many here see similarities to Invictus or even Invictus Aqua. While I can confirm that, I find that it resembles another fragrance even more: Coach for Men. Play it cool also starts fresh and sweet, due to the pear. However, this is perceived more subtly than in Coach. Here, the bergamot and mandarin are more prominent, which further supports the sweet accents. The lavender in the heart note of the fragrance also has a slightly sweet quality. Maritime accords continue to provide a good freshness. I only notice the cardamom in the base note at the end, here together with amber (longevity), musk (slight powderiness), and tonka (also sweet). Everything is very well balanced for a freshie in the lower price range.

Especially for the price and in direct comparison with the other footballer fragrance I own, David Beckham Aromatic Greens EdP, the longevity is good (5h+). The sillage is also significantly better than that of many inexpensive freshies (2, 3h depending on skin type). I paid €24 for 100ml, which is a fair price for this fragrance. If you are looking for a fresh, blue scent in the lower price segment (under €25), you should take a closer look at this one!

When I was looking for a sport fragrance instead of Voyage, I found CR7 Play It Cool. At that time, Voyage cost over 20 euros and CR7 Play It Cool was just under 16 euros. So I took it without hesitation.

You can't find much in common in the fragrance notes, yet I smell similarities.
The differences are that Voyage has a more delicate floral scent than Play It Cool and doesn't have a sweet fragrance.

In my opinion, Play It Cool is more playful and better suited for teenagers, probably because I noticed a sweet chewing gum scent in it.

It's a blend of the fresh scent of Voyage and a bit of the sweet scent of Invictus or Invictus Aqua.

The top note hits the nose with a sweet fruity scent, and at the same time, the maritime note comes to the nose. This made me feel fresh and sporty. And then the sweet scent of tonka bean developed the playful image.

The sillage is strong for 1 hour and the longevity is not bad. It stayed on my skin for 6 hours.

The bottle also doesn't look cheap. The clear blue color of the bottle says: I am a summer fragrance! Although the cap and silver-colored decoration are made of plastic, it doesn't look that cheap.

If someone is looking for a sport fragrance or a summer fragrance for teenagers and those in their 20s, I can gladly recommend this.

As a convinced "fougère fan" and someone who has also taken a liking to "aquatics," I blind swapped for this "blend of both" here!
And I was not disappointed. It lasts longer than expected and has above all one thing in its "luggage": a blue shimmering fruity-citrusy freshness with lavender as one of the main players, a kind of "water note," as if one were looking at a clear, blue shimmering forest lake. "Ferns" on its shores and the opportunity to paddle a boat across it. All around and back and forth. Always connected with spicy air that is blown in from the nearby forest and the lavender fields behind it by the fresh wind. A very slight "synthetic" note in the background, which fades towards the "base," deducts half a point from the good rating, hence 7.5 instead of 8. Otherwise, it corresponds to a beautiful, playful blue mix of "fougère" and "aquatic scent," which definitely lifts the mood :-))
