Pay attention: this is wonderful :)

Superb creation of this independent American brand.

Slightly citrus and greenish opening with an addition of aldehydes, which immediately mix with animal and waxy notes.

The hay absolute gives a sweet and earthy part, which joins the more floral and woody part.

The civet and the oud, together with the muhuhu, tend to emerge more intensely after a few hours on the base, making it even deeper and slightly smoky and earthy and sometimes smooth and creamy.

In the Sun of the Wide Savanna

Bright hay, driven by the wind, sepia grasses fly across the land, rubbing their musty ears against the Hesperian dew from the cool valleys. Follow the silver trail. The savanna stands briefly in full bloom. Then the flakes gleam sharp-spicy roots as a shimmering mirage over the meadows, where geraniums pour acidity onto jasmine blossoms and the grasses sway warmer now. Their traces seem clearer already, leading through sweet thickets and thistles, like the imprints of their paws in straw, dry moss, and brown spices in wax, the clay soil smokes from smoldering resins, to leather where serval cats rolled, to humid-warm barns made of dark woods and waves of hay, camels and goats lying in earthy-spicy puddles, in which misty ambers reflect, in the sun of the wide savanna.

Dawn Spencer Hurwitz from North Boulder, Colorado, moves with her fragrances in the flowing border areas between perfumes, bespoke, aromatherapy, and collaborations with artists.
While Dawn's creations are usually rather moderate and reserved, "Le Serval" is an unusually expressive and animalistic scent that could also come from Prin Lomros. After a diffuse, floating bright, Hesperian fresh and at the same time hay-like-spicy opening, the leitmotif of luminous civet and animalistic hyrax emerges very quickly, which first traces its path through sharp-spicy ginger roots and sour rose geraniums before it becomes sweet-floral and warmer (especially thistle, beeswax, honeybush, jasmine, and karo-karounde). After about an hour, one arrives at a summer animal farm. Clay-leathery, smoky oud, dark moss, cedar and muhuhu wood, spicy hay, woody-balsamic amber, and the now omnipresent hyrax define the magnificent drydown for many hours.
