Kiss the Lips and Sniff the Nose!
Hello, you sniffers! Here I am, … yes yes… once again… and I’m filling you up … yes yes… once again… with a new comment. … Yes yes… once again… :))
Today it’s about a fragrance in a rather unusual bottle. At a quick glance, I thought it was some kind of melted golden thing… until I saw the brand, namely Dali, and then immediately knew that the bottle was surely designed after the works of the artist. Upon a closer look, you can see that the bottle represents gilded lips, with a gilded nose as the cap.
For all interested: The bottle was created based on a painting by the artist, namely his work “Aphrodite” from 1981, where the nose and lips are particularly prominent. In any case, I really like the bottle, but not because I’m still single and might be tempted to kiss those lips (or? Let me think, hmmm…..!), no no, that’s not it, but I know that’s exactly what you thought!!! What thoughts you have! Tsss… it’s just a beautifully shaped modeling of female lips that one would like to kiss and… uh… oh forget that!!! Now read the fragrance description instead!!!
It smells quite good, as mentioned. Soon, a bit of vanilla comes in, giving the fragrance a softer and powdery aura, which is particularly beautiful with other gentle notes like sandalwood.
You only catch a hint of patchouli, mostly when you sniff at the sprayed spot. The most prominent scents are amber, rose, and a bit of woody notes. Even later, the fragrance doesn’t change much, and you still mostly smell the amber, along with the vanilla and barely noticeable woody notes. The background seems a bit dry, so that at times it even reminded me a tiny bit of tobacco, at least when you really sniff thoroughly at the sprayed spot. And very, VERY much later, the fragrance then only smells of… you can probably guess it already,… vanilla!

*sigh* … caught again… but I have a good reason for it: It’s so hot again! And the bottle is nice and cool, so… I’m just cooling myself off with it,… hee hee… :D
Heat waves in summer are quite exhausting. Especially when it rains and it gets really humid, ugh!
And since I say summer: This fragrance is certainly not a summer scent, as it is heavy and intense. It might seem a bit like an all-rounder, but I would recommend it most for autumn and winter. It can be worn in the evening, when going out, or for other festive occasions.
When I wrote earlier that it comes across like a fragrance from the 80s/90s, I certainly didn’t mean that it’s old-fashioned and thus only for women… um,… of a certain age (it’s always risky to write something like that… :D), as these types of fragrances were also worn by younger women during the 80s/90s. You’ll have to try it for yourself; it’s beautiful if you like roses and amber. Unfortunately, I don’t know if the fragrance is still available anywhere, but since it was released relatively recently, it should be around somewhere. A test from Fabulous Marudhaï, whose name I believe refers to the Indian city of Madurai (I think…), could be worthwhile, just maybe not now in summer. And yes, the fragrance seems very feminine to me, especially at the beginning; only much later in the base does it become a bit more unisex, as it reminds me of fragrances like Dior's Ambre Nuit due to the amber. But I would still classify it mostly among women’s fragrances.

The Sillage and Longevity:
