Cool Water Parfum for Her Davidoff 2021

I probably wouldn't have come up with the idea of getting this fragrance myself. The eau de toilette was somehow too sharp, too 90s and somehow too much "men's shower gel" for me After receiving the eau de parfum as a gift, I tried it out without expecting too much and I have to say that for me it has almost nothing to do with the original. A beautiful rose, sweet and fresh. Just a little bit rough, probably due to the vetiver. It reminds me a little of Good Girl Eau de Parfum or the numerous dupes (Miss Dream, for example).
Just not quite. There is this scratchy twist, the fragrance is not quite as pleasing.
Nevertheless, I find it flattering, soft, warm and at the same time fresh, and I like it all the more the longer I wear it. Many fragrances with a fresh undertone disappoint a little in the drydown, but I find this one more and more beautiful. Very well-groomed, almost creamy.
In terms of timing, it fits perfectly into the fall and winter, which you wouldn't guess from the packaging.
It doesn't suit me at all. In summer, the whole thing would certainly be far too intense for me.
Cool Water doesn't really fit here, it could have been a completely independent fragrance.
