Not what I expected
I probably wouldn't have thought of getting this fragrance myself. The Eau de Toilette used to feel too sharp, too 90s, and somehow too much like "men's shower gel."
After receiving the Eau de Parfum as a gift, I tried it with no high expectations and must say, for me it has almost nothing to do with the original. A lovely rose, sweet and fresh. Just a little rough, probably due to the vetiver. It somewhat reminds me of Good Girl Eau de Parfum or the numerous dupes (like Miss Dream).
Just not quite. There is this scratchy twist, the fragrance doesn't present itself as overly pleasing.
Still, I find it flattering, soft, warm, and at the same time fresh, and I like it more the longer I wear it. Many fragrances with a fresh undertone tend to disappoint a bit in the drydown, but with this one, I find it only gets better. Very well-groomed, almost creamy.
Timing-wise, it fits perfectly in autumn and winter, which one wouldn't guess from the packaging.
That doesn't suit me at all. In summer, this would definitely be too intense for me.
Cool Water doesn't really fit here; it could have been a completely independent fragrance.
