Where has the needle forest gone?
Unfortunately, this scent did not convince me. For the warm season, it feels simply too heavy and oppressive. I had actually expected a much fresher and greener direction based on the notes, but little of that remains on my skin.
There is no trace of moss or pine, which according to the pyramid should provide a certain fresh-green nuance. Instead, stuffy citrus accents unfold, quickly transitioning into a dense sweetness. Vanilla and tonka take over, creating a warm, almost sticky impression.
The longevity and sillage are undoubtedly above average - it remains present for hours and is clearly noticeable in the room. Normally a plus point, but in this case, it also means that this cumbersome composition lingers for a very long time.
What a pity, as the idea sounded promising. However, on my skin, there is hardly any balance, but rather a sweet, stuffy density that tires me more than excites me.
