One thing: warm, lulling, refreshing, dreamlike ... unique! :-)

For years I was always looking for natural (or at least near-natural) fragrances that appealed to me. What money went on there ... and time for researching - natural fragrances do not grow on trees ...

Then came this fragrance - and ended my natural perfume search in one fell swoop

Holla the Wood Fairy, that I call a hammer scent. But for me there was something very dominant in the nose almost stabbing. Grünwürzigholzig with a pinch of anise-like, which has overlaid everything else. Intense anise or fennel-like. I have the Palo Santo in suspicion and will try to be able to test the pure.
The scent will remain in my memory, a heartfelt thank you for your hiking letter.

Not as exotic & specifically fine-tuned, but distantly related for my nose - if the aniseediness of iO bothers you a lot, maybe Mytao Seven might be for you. I usually layer it with homemade jasmine sambac. Except for one, all Mytaos are citrus dominated, 7 is the only one from the series that stood out positively for me in the otherwise for me citrus banal monotony. Is officially a men's fragrance, since then probably grabbed me the so beloved by me heaviness. 😉

Yes that could well be the Palo. After years of stubborn refusal, because many Palo products smelled to me tangy (association gas station puddle), whether wood, essential oil or incense, I love it now as an essential oil & have just the last few days tried to weigh with four different in the fragrance lamp, which I like best, least tangy, most intense and balanced smells. I've (b)smelled off after two rounds - Palo Overflow. 😅

I'm gonna test it out. Could be right up my alley.

Manogi, thank you, but a) I'm not looking, I have mine, b) with Maienfelser I was ü-ber-haupt not warm. Was me or us, the husband also, everything somehow Krautwasser monotonous, we had various Minis.

I don't want to start your search all over again, but if you're looking for good natural fragrances, check out Maienfelser Naturkosmetik. They have 15 natural perfumes that are all pretty good. :-)

"The one" fragrance it is no longer, but my favorite incomparable still. Again, it's interesting how differently the scent is perceived - I find it to be warm, indefinably citrusy, herbaceous & woodsy smelling. Bottle #2 is currently half full, #3 is on reserve. What I praise myself the Black Friday at the only German-speaking seller known to me ;-)
