Finally.
Finally another good "Wood" from Dsquared. Finally again a Wood (2) which closes the gap to my favorite "Rocky Mountain Wood".
More citrusy than this, but after the prelude yet clear similarities recognizable.
Fine soft, not too sharp lemon at the start. Paired with bright, herbaceous and woody notes. Like a summer forest after rain showers.... Not too heavy, not too sweet- subtle and elegant. The "wood" theme is evident again. This time a more Mediterranean forest.
No great complex fragrance. Remains by and large linear at woody / herbaceous and slightly citrus fresh.
That is in this case also good so- Exactly that should make the fragrance.

I also find some similarity to "Bottega Veneta Illusione"- but this with the "Wood" typical wooden punch of Dsquared!
Durability for an EdT with me with 9-10 hours absolutely ok. Projection and sillage not in beast mode- rather only the first 2-3 hours well given, then rather skin.
Finally, so for me again a successful "Wood" of Dsquared!
My tears regarding the discontinuation of "Rocky Mountain Wood" can slowly dry..
