Much less "gourmand" than I thought!

Ha! To my delight! I "inherited" a thick 30ml bottle as an encore in a swap, which I'm now enjoying as it's disgustingly cold for April. Even if the "fragrance pyramid" would suggest a decidedly sweet "gourmand fragrance".
It is a tiny bit sweet, but it largely dispenses with pompous wafts.
Powder? Of course it is! Consisting of tart, delicate orris root and crystalline, almost grainy sandpaper cinnamon!
Wonderfully sunny citrus fruits and delicate ylang ylang blossoms float above it all. And underneath, earthy, woody and balsamic aromas are sprinkled with dark bourbon vanilla.
And this "Ambre et Vanille" lasts forever, changing and varying with its own fragrance notes and playing with them almost acrobatically like a circus juggler. There is never a dull moment. And it is a wonderful fragrance, created by perfumers with magic hands and a "golden nose" - simply enchanting!!! ;-))
