The compliment giver
I have two of Ellen Tracy’s fragrances, Ellen and Tracy. Tracy is the best of the two.
On my skin it is a floral mix, very subtle and discreet, almost anonymous. I have great difficulties in finding the different notes so to me it is a bit of a mystery. I can not help but thinking that it has to do with body chemistry. When reading all the lovely reviews in here, I wonder why I do not get the same impression when wearing it. I do get compliments for it, though. I have experienced it before, and I have come to the conclusion that there are notes I simply do not notice.
So what DO I smell? Peony and rose at first. This lasts around 15 minutes. Then comes a quiet violet and a tiny whiff of amber. In the end it has a vanilla-woody feeling.
