Great Invictus Victory clone. Underrated gem.

Got a tester for $8. If you can get this anywhere under $20, it's a great deal.

Pretty much 85% similar to the original. A little more aromatic-fresh than the OG. Great quality bottle, cap, and atomizer. My tester came with a cap for some reason, just not the original packaging (who cares?).

The profile is just like the OG. Fresh, fruity, but also sweet, with a vanilla base. I'm enjoying this one a lot!

Performance is really great, with long lasting medium projection, and great longevity on skin.

Invictus Victory Alternative

As can be easily recognized from the bottle and the name, this is an alternative to Invictus Victory.
How close is it? I can't say for sure.
I tested the original once and found it rather uninteresting, so I didn't delve into it further.
However, the Genius Victory does remind me of what I tested back then.

In the opening, I perceive pepper and something citrusy, fresh.
It definitely smells like bergamot/lemon to me.
The start is really synthetic, I don't like it at all.

A few minutes of waiting are worth it.
The dry down is still synthetic, but more bearable.
Lavender, as known from Paco Rabanne, takes the helm.
Pepper and lemon slowly but surely say goodbye and
something resinous is increasingly pushing to the forefront.
What it is, I can't really say.

Gradually, I also perceive notes like vanilla, amber, and tonka bean.
Together with the resinous element and the lavender, the scent develops quite sweetly, without being too "sticky".

Sillage and longevity in the first hours are surprisingly strong.
For the small price, it's top.

A unisex scent, which in my opinion smells more masculine (M65%/35%W).

My conclusion: a fragrance that most people who enjoy Paco Rabanne scents will like.
I personally only like 1 Million Privé and 1 Million Lucky from the house, so Genius Victory doesn't really appeal to me either.
Nevertheless, it's not bad, but also nothing that you absolutely must have.
