A decent take on Aventus for a decent price
For me, English Laundry London is one of the scents I wear when I don't really know what to put on but I want to smell a tad unique.
Azzaro Chrome and Mont Blanc Legend Spirit could work, but London is a little different.
It is frutier, a little bolder, and a tad smokey. The first sprays bring forth a swirl of freshness, and the woody accord stays pretty much from heart to complete drydown.
I tend to shy away from very sweet fragrances, and London achieves a fresh, fruity scent without being gourmand.
Performance is okay on my skin, it lasts around 4 hours in the air. Projection and sillage are quite weak.
The bottle is a bit generic. The spray isn't very smooth, and the cap is somewhat empty plastic (which makes it feel cheap).
All in all, 25$ for this from a random Marshall's is pretty dang good. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again to offer it to a friend or colleague.
