A walk along the lake in the fall.
Oh, how can I begin. Every time I spray and wear this fragrance, I'm up and away.
I have tried many rose oud fragrances so far. None of them have stayed in my memory more than Indonesian Oud.
I became aware of this fragrance through a friend who works in a perfumery. She said to me: "Hey, I've got another perfect fragrance for you."
She knew very well that I like heavy, woody fragrances and always fall for rose-oud combinations. So I went to the perfumery and treated myself to three spritzes of Indonesian oud.
I was immediately in love with the scent.
Let's move on to what I felt for the first time with this fragrance and where I was mentally:
I am from a small town on beautiful Lake Constance. In summer and spring, but also in fall and winter, it's always nice to walk along Lake Constance to simply clear your mind and soul. This fragrance helps me to do that. Of course not in summer or spring (as I don't think it fits into the seasons) but in fall or in the deep and cold winter. When I smelled Indonesian Oud for the first time, I was at my favorite place on Lake Constance, walking along the promenade.
The weather was slightly rainy and the leaves from the trees lay on the pebbled path. There was something earthy and floral in the air, but also something citrusy and sour... Just like Indonesian oud again.
So I keep walking and try to sort out my thoughts and feelings and clear my head of everyday stress... The Indonesian Oud is always with me and gives me support and warmth in the cold temperatures... I find a bench and watch the lake and am away for 5-10 minutes... in thought... My fragrance still accompanies me and makes it sweeter and easier for me to sort out my thoughts and reset myself..
Every time I want to wind down a little and go for a walk around the lake, I take my faithful companion "Indonesian Oud" with me and enjoy this wonderful fragrance with the atmosphere of the lake..
