Mourning
is the reason for my review. Or rather a rant.
I used to be enchanted by this fragrance (about 5 years ago). A magical, young, sweet, floral fragrance. Although the bottle must have been open for 10 years.
It's still in the cupboard, but you can only smell the top note, the rest is vinegar.
I have now repurchased the fragrance, but it is pure disappointment!
You can't smell any of the flowers or fruits, just this caramel, maybe a little iris and patchouli. Nothing magnetizing or young and fresh about it.
After an hour or two, something sweet and fruity finally comes to the surface, albeit rather shyly. A hint. As if the radiant glow were hiding behind a thick fog.
It is a completely different fragrance. A shadow of itself. Simply BLASS.
Do I have to wait 10 years for the magic to unfold again?
(Or have my cells renewed themselves too much that I can't smell it .)
