Orris Perfection
I’m not a fan of vintage-style “everything but the kitchen sink” fragrances; the ones where there’s 500 notes listed but when I wear it all I get is hairspray, animal musk and generic florals. However, these are what comes to mind when someone uses the term “well blended”; I mean obviously they distilled a thousand different notes into 3, right???
Well, this, THIS is actually well blended. Everything is there, but it has been woven into something new, into a tapestry of amethyst and cool green rain. Puffs of grapey orris clouds drift over serene sandalwood pools.
True to its name each facet feels precious, like the finest specimens were carefully selected as offerings to mysterious deities.
It is my perfect orris, my perfect sandalwood; it is spring, fall, winter and maybe even summer. It’s like being encased in a fluffy robe of soft love and perfection. Buy it while you still can.
