Coconut Summer Scent

In my opinion, it smells similar to all the other typical summer scents with coconut.
Creamy, sweet, and a bit like sunscreen. In the dry down, the vanilla comes out nicely and the scent becomes even sweeter.
Longevity and sillage are okay but not super strong. I don't find that problematic for such a scent; otherwise, you would get a headache in the summer anyway.
I don't find the bottle very attractive; it looks quite cheap. But the perfume is also very affordable, so I don't mind.

Well, where is it then?

Generally, I have had quite good experiences with the brand Essential Garden. Especially the floral scents have turned out very well and can compete with expensive fragrances. But this time, the blind purchase was a total miss. I had read the good reviews and took a chance on a blind buy for the price. I expected a scent that leans towards sunscreen. Coconut was supposed to be included, but where was the nut? A synthetic mixture started immediately, intensified, and after a little floral note, a strong vanilla hit came in. But not the noble vanilla, rather the lab-made one with a piercing note. But hello, it’s not Advent season yet. Also, there was nothing to smell of the creaminess I expected. Round and clean? Not at all. More like scratchy and artificial. Altogether, an extremely long-lasting powerhouse, where I only wished to get rid of it as quickly as possible. It only came off with baking soda water. Even in autumn, we won’t be friends. The scent is cheap, but it feels cheap to me.

5-Minute Coconut Delight

After using a friend's sunscreen over the weekend and continually enjoying its lovely scent, I set out to find a summery sweet coconut fragrance and was excited to find a cheap option here...
Unfortunately, my nose only perceives the sweet coconut in the first 5 minutes. It smells very good and just as I had hoped, but I'm glad I took the test strip home and gave the fragrance time to develop. Because 10 minutes later, there was no trace of the sweet coconut left. Instead, it smelled very, very fresh and aquatic. I didn't pick up on any flowers, nor any vanilla. What a pity.
A day later, I still can't smell any of the base notes. It just smells very aquatic, almost reminiscent of Cool Water Woman.
The fragrance pyramid is therefore completely incomprehensible to me.

So unfortunately, this is not the right scent for me.
