Car tires/Vanilla Liason
I have some nice, delicate yet expressive floral fragrances from Essential Garden that I wouldn't want to do without. But the new arrivals in recent years are no longer my cup of tea and I've only ever tested them once.

Now this new arrival grinned at me in DM when I wanted to buy another fragrance. With yellow, I already suspected vanilla. For me, vanilla belongs in cakes and Christmas baking. As a fragrance, vanilla has a hard time with me. But here is a very strange mixture of scents. Hot rubber tires are being driven along the waffle stand at the Christmas market. There is nothing else to smell. Neither the flowers at the beginning, nor the lily of the valley and jasmine later. Everything is full of vanilla with the synthetic smell of burnt rubber tires. Even the dominant patchouli goes on strike. The bottom line is a rather distinctive, one-sided, simple and loud chemical fragrance. I was dreading to think about its longevity. But the fragrance was already gone when I left the store. So max. 5-10 minutes and the haunting was over.

So the fragrance was allowed to stay on the shelf and wait for those who like it.

Fluffy vanilla cloud
I found the fragrance in the local drugstore the other day, as I'm currently on a gourmand scent and am currently very interested in sweet "comfort" fragrances ... Standing in front of the shelf, I discovered this new release, which was presented in a simple but matching bottle. I have to say that the last time I bought a fragrance from a drugstore was when I was a teenager ...

But as soon as I had applied this perfume to a test strip, I was pleasantly surprised: a fluffy, sweet vanilla dream floated towards me - not heavy, not (over)irritating, but pleasantly soft and comfy. For about 5 Eur, I saw no reason not to get this fragrance, so I put it in my shopping basket.

Now I have been using this creation for about 3 days and I can say that the longevity is about 5-6 hours. The sillage, on the other hand, seems to be limited. Although I find it difficult to judge for myself. In any case, my environment didn't notice this perfume, even though it's almost out of character for me to use such sweet fragrances...

It may sound contradictory at this point, but (as is typical with vanilla-heavy fragrances) you shouldn't over-spray, otherwise it could be a bit overstraining for the nose...

Otherwise, I have found that the fragrance is wonderful for layering, as the sweet vanilla note is quite prominent. I used it in combination with For Her Intense by Narciso Rodriguez, as this new release is unfortunately anything but, despite the "Intense label". In fact, I perceive the product reviewed here to last significantly longer than the designer perfume, which can be a statement in itself. But even on its own, this fragrance certainly knows how to delight the sweet-toothed. Unfortunately, I don't know Vanilla 28 by Kayali, so I can't draw any parallels with it.

But Vanilla Bliss by Essential Garden captures the vibe of Ariana Grande's creations, especially Cloud and Mod Vanilla.

In my opinion, both the fruit and floral notes are barely perceptible. The vanilla note and the brown sugar (paired with a hint of musk) clearly come to the fore here. But that's not a bad thing here, I'm happy to have found a vanilla fragrance that doesn't smell "cheap".

If you like sweet fragrances and would like a scent that is suitable for everyday use, which is quite carefree, light and fluffy, you should go for it.
