Good, nice, yet somehow basic...

...at least on me.
Starting shot: Floral osmanthus, cinnamon, vanilla, tonka... all there, but too sweet for me and I had somehow expected something more spectacular because of the incense, sage and patchouli. So in the sense of "more edgy": a work of art interwoven with sweet and unusual aspects, not quite graspable for the sneeze world.
But the fragrance is by no means that, rather elegant with a splash of mysticism in two separate phases.
The sweetness becomes more and more moderate over time and the base creams the wrist in a distinctly spicy, velvety way. Only in the drydown does it become unisex in my eyes.
The fragrance is undoubtedly good, but I wouldn't need it in all the plethora of possible vanilla options.
For those who want something more interwoven, "gentle Fluidity (Gold) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian" can be recommended.
