Face à Face pour Femme Façonnable 1996

This is the perfect scent to toss in a gym bag and use while working out, or after a bath, or to cool off on an oppressively hot day. The longevity lasts about the length of a good workout, which I think makes it ideal for situations like that. It's not loud, but not a skin scent, though it won't invade other people's space either. It's more green than floral, with a very light spice. The iris really comes out as it's drying down helping to keep you cool and dry, and the cedar adds a masculine edge, which I think makes this perfectly unisex. The Lily of the Valley is not sweet and more green than floral and has a dewy citrus-like component. Overall, this scent has the freshness of a meadow - green and pristine. While not the most innovative of fragrances, for what it is, I think it's great. While wearing, it kept bringing to mind two other fragrances I really love. It's as if they mixed Chanel 19 Poudre with Chanel Chance Eau Frache, as it has elements of both those fragrances in this. Of course, this isn't at the same level of quality as a Chanel, but I wouldn't expect that for the inexpensive price. Still, it was nice that I found similarities of both fragrances in this while wearing it. Best yet is the packaging. The bottle design is unique and comes in a metal can which would offer a measure of protection should you choose to toss it in a gym bag.
