A diamond in the rough
I am so glad I gave this a chance! The opening is a natural animalic patchouli that punches you in the face, which very nearly put me off. Give it five minutes and it dries down into the most beautiful spicy dark gourmand i've smelt.
I had a visceral reaction to this, it instantly brought back an olfactory memory of south american dark drinking chocolate which I love with very little sweetness and a kick of spicyness. Although the projection isn't large I find it sits for a long time as a skin scent. I put a couple of sprays on the back of my hand in the evening and I can't stop putting my nose in it. For me this is a perfect intimate scent to be enjoyed by the wearer.
This is my first review, and although I am putting myself out of my comfort zone writing down my thoughts I felt like I needed to for this. It is special and it needs more recognition.
