Fine is fine!

Fine is fine!

Fine Accoutrements is a small, American family-owned business based in Fairport, NY that has been manufacturing items for traditional wet shaving since 2005, including aftersaves, shaving soaps, brushes, razors, soap jars, and more.

The aftershaves of Fine are always inspired by popular old-school men's fragrances such as Rive Gauche Pour Homme, Yves Saint Laurent, Guerlain Vetiver, Terre d'Hermes and others. The skillfully elegant formulation uses only four ingredients and contains no artificial colors, emulsifiers, silicones or parabens. In all aftershaves, the only ingredients are alcohol, water, perfume and a dash of menthol, which is typical of US aftershaves.

The 100 ml glass flacon is reminiscent of "the good old days" by its appearance, and is kept simple in an appealing and cool retro style. The Fine L'Orange Noir Aftershave Splash represents thereby a tribute to the French, spicy, woody, earthy luxury fragrance Terre d 'Hermes, from 2006. A fragrance to which I think I must write here nothing more.

The care properties of Fine L'Orange Noir I feel as consistently good. After the typical burning of the alcohol, which thoroughly and reliably disinfects the face after shaving, the menthol contained cools the skin in the aftermath then nice down. The contained fragrance immerses one in the familiar classic, masculine and tart-sweet scent cloud. The Fine L'Orange Noir produces a very good sillage for an aftershave and also has quite a good shelf life. I like to layer the Fine L'Orange Noir after shaving with the original EDT from Hermes. An absolute dream!
Fine is just fine!
