The Color Purple
The scent truly radiates something like courage, not a diluted, splashing little water. It’s definitely something substantial, exuding sovereignty and a feeling of being grounded in life.
It begins beautifully and lasts long with the lily of the valley and fresh rose; some time later, the warmer flowers join in with a hint of delicate herbal-green, and only much later do the really warm base notes emerge. It takes its time to develop, but remains pleasant and elegant throughout.
I don’t find it extraordinarily unique; it contains a bit of what many scents have, just mixed in a new way.
And now I’m going to put on my pinstripe suit.
Or better yet, I’ll just stop smelling this stuff.
