Unexpected Perfection
Black Touch is a fascinating fragrance. An ashy, leathery, smoky, and powdery blend that, against all odds, achieves perfect balance. I sampled it, and was immediately compelled to buy the full bottle. The notes, though seemingly disparate, harmonize beautifully, creating a long-lasting scent that's both intriguing and comforting. It's truly unisex, working equally well on men and women.
Frankly, I'm not easily impressed, but Black Touch has captured my attention. It wears well throughout the day, evolving subtly and fading gracefully. It shines in the evening, especially in warmer weather, where it blooms with intensity. In colder months, it softens, becoming a subtle, comforting skin scent. Highly recommended for those seeking a unique and adventurous fragrance.

Encre Noire + Terre D'Hermes = Black Touch
This perfume might be a nearby relative of Encre Noire, because both possess an interpretation of the very similar vetiver, but with the peculiarity of which Balck Touch is less dark and lacks the linearity of Encre Noire, awarding a more versatile and luxuriant profile. Undoubtedly, the inspiration is, but here we can see a smoked vetiver, amaderado and piquant, much more fresh and juvenile, without the decrepit sensation of withered flowers that we could see in Encre Noire, although, of course, it maintains this touch of seriousness and formalism. Then, it has a phase that has an air to Terre D'Hermes, and in spite of not including any orange note, feels in the distance, with a more earthy and dry vetiver for the patchouli. It is not seemed exaggerated, but yes it gives to you that one true vibrates of Terre. The final drying, it is a dispersed and residual vetiver, on a bed of musk and patchouli, picantito and nimiamente avainillado. Sincerely, it has looked like to me a magnificent perfume at a ridiculous price, the bad only thing, the yield.

As for its yield, we can say that, it is more that well for what it costs, but, when you come across with such an original perfume, he knows you to little, and he had preferred to pay something more and obtain slightly more of yield, but well, it is not badly at all. It has remained in skin on approximately 5 hours, with a moderate stela, something more well-known to the beginning, and going down progressively.

I it see a perfume of cold and moderate climates, and the same way to use so much in the daytime as at night, although I would dare to say that, one summer night, it has to be an authentic delight, this touch of cool that it possesses, it might be a good base for this versatility.

If you like Encre Noire and Terre D'hermes, you like this one insurance. It unites in the same perfume the soul of two works of art, and versatility awards him, with a low cost: What more can be asked him?

Forgive me for my english.

The Perfect Scent for a Golden October
No, it doesn’t necessarily smell like autumn. Certainly not like autumn leaves. Rather, it evokes the scent of dry light wood on a mild late summer day. Perhaps a piece of wood that has slightly charred at one corner. This is probably due to the vetiver, which also gives Encre Noire a smoky note. I can still clearly perceive cedar, magnolia, bergamot, and cardamom. Fantastic combination.

I have noticed for some time now that I am a big fan of vetiver scents. I will continue to explore them. But so far, Black Touch by Olivier is my absolute favorite. I give the scent 10 points, but unfortunately only 6 points for longevity. I could smell like this for the rest of my life; however, after 2-3 hours, Black Touch is just a shadow of its former self.

I am writing this review to express my enthusiasm for the scent. I am too olfactorily uneducated for a thorough "scent analysis." However, over the last 2 years, during which I have become interested in perfumes, I have become significantly more discerning. This has now led me to elevate this scent to my current "signature."

I look forward to more vetiver scents and an expansion of my fragrance universe.

I can only recommend this scent to all vetiver enthusiasts; it is relatively inexpensive and doesn’t sit on the shelf for long, as you tend to use it generously if you want to keep it on your nose longer.

Greetings from Hamburg

between earth and black ink
Franck Olivier! Some time ago, I believed I had to have everything from this house, whether good or bad, just to have it. Looking back, that seems a bit strange, I know.

Since FO fragrances could only be ordered blindly online, I tried to make my choice based on the declared notes here. Once it went wrong, with Sunrise. But I liked all the others. I found this one the best; the bottle is not the prettiest, that title goes to Bamboo, without a doubt. When I smelled it for the first time, I thought only of magnolia. And in a men's fragrance, no less. Well, one thing at a time.

At that time, I didn’t see the similarity to Terre d'Hermes, as I hadn’t tested it yet. However, the similarity I did see, albeit accompanied by orange blossoms and magnolias, is Encre Noir, the same dry woody note (here cedar), the same dark vetiver note.

The start is clearly marked by cardamom, and without any typical Hermes fruity aroma, grapefruit comes around the corner; the only thing you definitely don’t smell is bergamot. Overall, it feels spicy, yes, but then the flowers start to emerge. Orange blossom, magnolia, these are the players here, heavy and floral; jasmine feels a bit weak, and the geranium, which Hermes also offers, is not very present.

The base is what I mentioned, dominated by vetiver and cedar, dry, dark, black. I always found Hermes to be a cheerful fragrance, never dark; this one, however, feels a bit like its wearer is squinting, peering through narrow slits. Vanilla, hmm? Musk, no! Patchouli, more like it.

In the drydown, it becomes less floral and remains spicy and earthy; a hint of sweetness may linger, but that is then perceived by your surroundings.

Longevity and sillage: 6 hours on me and good sillage guaranteed.
Bottle: nice, and if the plastic cap were made of wood, there would be applause.

100ml was available in my time for under 20,- and 50ml was around 12.- you can’t help but grab it.

I’m quite happy with the fragrance; this way, I always have the more everyday-appropriate Encre Noir and a tablespoon of a recipe-altered Hermes, which, after all, many people wear.

Terre D'Hermes with orange syrup. Smells good despite the weak sillage. Very different from Encre Noire. Not black/noire at all.

Has some similarities to Terre D'Hermes, but goes in its own direction. Longevity could be better. Very nice scent!

Not Encre Noir, but delicious. However, it lacks longevity. But at this price, reapplying is a pleasure.

A scent that starts very earthy like Encre Noire, but increasingly reminds me of TdH. If only the performance were better :/

Initially strong with cedar and vetiver. It fades quickly and vanilla mixes in. The light citrus scent lingers. Not bad.
